Mom was driving me back home from YMCA and as usual asked me about my day and what I ate. She always tells me not to waste food at home else bhagwaan ji gets mad at us. I told her there were some green beans at school today and she asked me what I did with those and I said "I put them in the garbage". Then she said it's not nice to throw food else bhagwaan ji will not be happy to which i replied...

No mommy...in YMCA there is no bhagwaan ji. We just say all done and put the food in the garbage. So bhagwaan ji cannot get mad at me in YMCA!!

Mom was telling me the virtue of helping around the house and how I can earn money by working. I decided to help her unload the dishwasher. I took the bowls out and handed them over to mommy. Then I noticed some dessert bowls in the dihwasher which are used for special treats in our house. I took them out and said...

Last night dad brought up some yummy cheesecake that mom made and kept it on his bedside table. Then they got me and Ayush ready for bed. I looked at the cheesecake and said

You guys always eat something before you go to sleep. Why don't i get to eat anything before bed.

Last night mommy was putting my night clothes on and she suddenly started crying and shouting with pain. I quickly called daddy for help and he told me that he will have to take mommy to the hospital. I knew that my little brother was going to come now. I watched as daddy helped mommy sit in the car. I gave mom a big hug and told her " Don't be scared, I am there with you. If you need me then just call me on the phone". I didn't hear from mommy or daddy for a long time. Then in the morning daddy came to pick me and dada-dadi up to go to the hospital. See what we got :-)

Hola Los Cabos

While waiting for the little baby to come out of mom's tummy, mom and dad decided to have one last fun vacation with me alone. They say they are not sure when they'll go for a vacation again...well whatever works for them.
I was happy because mommy said that Mexico has sand and ocean....yippee!! I get to play with my sand toys.

Away from the cold winters of Portland we reached warm and pleasant Mexico (Los Cabos).But I am not sure I liked it. There was no sand and no ocean. Just a room where I ended up locking myself in the toilet. It wasn't turning out to be fun...so I wanted to go back home.
After surviving through the night watching my fav Lion King movie, the next morning dad showed me ocean waters in front of our room. Yay!! we were finally in Mexico.
I got a chance to roll around in the sand and run on the beach and play in the pool while sipping some yummy drinks. Mom never came with us in the ocean but that's ok....she was busy taking my pictures.

I had tons of fun in Mexico for the next 5 days. It was every child's dream come true. I even went on a jetskii ride with dad and saw big whales jumping in the water!

And then it was time to go back.I told mexico that I will come back next year. Right now my friends at home were missing me so I had to be with them!!

Halloween 2011

This was my third halloween but this time I was getting the idea. Mom asked me a month back what I wanted to be and I said I wanted to be a butterfly and fly up in the sky. So mom and dada got me a pretty butterfly costume and I went trick-o-treating to everyone's house in the neighborhood with my friends Adi and Avi. It was so much fun!!

Diwali

This Diwali nani was there to celebrate with us. I don't remember the last 2 diwalis but this time was fun. I wore a beautiful dress and did pooja. Then I burnt firecrackers. On the weekend my friends came to our house and Viva masi and Jayesh masa came from Los Angeles. I made rangoli with mama and lighted Diya!

My first personality trait

Mom and dad decided to show me "Lion King" today. I was very excited. When Simba's dad fell down from the cliff mom told me that he had died. i became very sad and started crying. I kept asking mama "Where is Simba's mom" and she kept saying she will come. But I couldn't stop crying. Then my mom asked me why I wanted Simba's mom and I said "because simba is too sad and he needs his mom!!" Everybody was shocked to see how emotional I was at 2 years old.

I think I am getting a baby sister

I called nani today and told her "nani my mama is sick, can you come back? She is having a baby". Papa said there was a baby in my mommy's tummy. He asked me if I wanted a baby sister or a baby brother and i think I want a baby sister because Mahika has a baby sister too!
But my mampi keeps going to the toilet and keeps spitting out. When I ask her "What are you spitting out" she says she is vomitting. I want to spit out vomit too but mama never lets me do that and sends me out :(
But I never forget to tell her that she is going to be ok!!
